Refining a single slide with AI
Not every AI moment happens at the start. When one slide's wording isn't landing, the editor's AI panel can rewrite it without you leaving the slide you're on.
Think of the AI panel as a copyeditor sitting inside the slide you're already working on. You're not generating anything new from scratch — you're asking for a better version of what's already there, whether that's a question that reads awkwardly, answer options that need tightening, or a whole slide that needs a different tone for a more formal audience. Because it works on one slide at a time, it's also the cheaper of Slidea's two AI entry points — a rewrite here spends far fewer credits than generating a full deck with Create with AI. This makes the AI panel the right tool reasonably often during normal editing — after you've imported a PowerPoint deck and want its wording to sound less like a document and more like something you'd say out loud, or after a template's placeholder question needs to match your actual topic.-
Open the panelWhile editing any slide, select AI from the right-hand rail. The panel opens alongside the slide you're on — you don't leave the editor or lose your place.

Say what you want changedAsk for a rewrite, more answer options, a tone shift (more formal, more casual, shorter), or a grammar pass — the panel takes plain-language requests rather than requiring a specific command format.

Check it before applyingCompare the suggestion to your intent — the panel shows the proposed change without touching your slide yet. If it's not quite right, ask for another pass instead of accepting a version you'll just have to fix by hand.
