This or That: two-way forced choice
No third option, no maybe — just two choices and an instant split. It's the fastest slide in the library to set up and the fastest for a room to answer.
This or That works best when the choice really is binary: "Remote" vs. "In-office," "Coffee" vs. "Tea," "Ship it now" vs. "Wait a sprint." Because there's nothing to read but two short labels, it's an ideal icebreaker at the start of a session, a quick energizer between denser content, or a genuinely useful decision-forcing tool when a team is stuck weighing two real options and needs to see where the room actually leans. The lack of a middle ground is the point — it pushes people off the fence rather than letting everyone hide behind "it depends."
The moment you need a third option, or you want to allow more than one selection, move up to Multiple Choice — This or That is deliberately limited to exactly two sides and doesn't support adding a third. And if the two options are true and false rather than two competing preferences, Truth or Lie adds the reveal-the-answer mechanic that a plain forced choice doesn't have.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add a third option later?
No — This or That is fixed at two options by design. If you need a third choice, recreate the question as a Multiple Choice slide instead.
Can participants change their vote after choosing a side?
Once submitted, a vote is locked in for that round. Run the slide again if you want to give the room a chance to reconsider.
Does the result show as a percentage or a raw count?
The live split displays as a percentage on each side, with the underlying vote count also visible so you can judge how many people actually responded.
