Truth or Lie: true-or-false statements

The format works because it creates a small moment of suspense: people commit to an answer before finding out if they’re right, which makes the reveal land harder than if you’d just stated the fact outright. It’s a natural opener — “Two Truths and a Lie” style icebreakers where new team members introduce themselves through one false claim about themselves — but it’s just as useful mid-session for myth-busting (“Every Slidea plan includes unlimited participants” — true or false?) or as a lightweight comprehension check after presenting new material, without the weight of a full quiz.
Truth or Lie sits in the Interaction Slides group rather than Quiz Slides because, even though it has a defined correct answer, it isn’t meant to feed a scored leaderboard the way Select Answer does — it’s built purely around the vote-then-reveal moment. If you want the same true/false mechanic but with points awarded and a leaderboard tracked across the session, use Select Answer with two options instead.
